Located in the largest inland port in the United States, Huntington, WV is a fun and lively community filled to the docks with culture and tradition. Huntington sits on the banks of the Ohio River, where Ohio and Kentucky meet. Talk about living in two places at once! Historically, Huntington’s ports were used to ship lumber and coal using steamboats to help expand the railroad. Now, the waters are used for more than just transportation, but also for leisurely activities, such as boating and fishing for largemouth bass and blue catfish.
Tired of the water? Time to strap on your land legs and head downtown to Pullman Square, a uniques outdoor shopping area featuring a variety of shopping and dining venues. Do not be fooled, Pullman Square is unlike any other “mall”. This superstructure also offers a calendar of family events throughout the year, such as free movies, a summer concert series and Max and Erma’s pancake breakfast.
Come see what makes us proud to call Huntington, WV our home.
